Jeremy Rawls is a former active duty U.S. Marine with two combat tours in Iraq, serving during the invasion and again for the Second Battle of Fallujah, both times with Alpha Company, 2nd Tank Battalion. He continued to serve later in the Army National Guard with a total of 11 years of service before being diagnosed with a rare lung disease from combat.

As a military contractor, he spent time, twice in Afghanistan. He graduated from Mississippi College with a bachelors in English, later teaching middle school for almost 5 years, and also received a Masters Degree in Education from Mississippi College. He began working in the nonprofit sector as an Associate Director and helped his church as a volunteer youth leader.

He now resides in Mississippi with his wife, Eunice Rawls, and assists with wildlife rehabilitation of small animals, as skunks are his favorite and loves to hunt, tell his testimony, and help any way he can.
